Above Catherine's dresser (which houses her changing table) hangs a framed hankie that belonged to my Nana. Now, if my Nana was alive today she would have a good laugh at the fact that I framed her hankie. When I decided to take the hankie, just after my Nana passed, it was folded neatly along with many others in her top drawer, ironed and creased to perfection. It just reminded me a lot of who my Nana was, so when I got it home I decided to frame it. When we found out that Catherine was going to be a girl, I wanted to base the colors in her room on those in the hankie.
Catherine loves to look up at the hankie, now from her angle she can't actually see the hankie but something draws her to it. She gets all excited and will kick her legs and move her arms all around while looking at it. Now, call me crazy but tonight I got the proof...I even caught her laughing.
